Skype 3.0 for Windows Phone Released
After long time of anticipation and months of beta testing, Skype has released the final version of Skype 3.0 for Windows Phones. It is assumed to work successfully on all phones which runs Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher. It is designed to work with Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G internet connections, but no doubt that it would definitely provide excellent voice quality with Wi-Fi connection.

The two notable features added to the finally released new version are File Transfer and send Text Messages. File transfer includes that the users will be able to send files to other Skype users similar to as we does with desktop and also would be able to send text messages at Skype rates, avoiding roaming rates.
Some of the basic features are free Skype to Skype calling, sending instant messages and calling on phones and mobile via Skype credit. Other new features available with Skype 3.0 are adding a contact wizard and a dial helper. The improvements made are emotions and hyperlink support in mood messages, blocking the user from search result, new user interface for status tab, chat and history.
