EMTEC jumps into nettops market with Ion based “G-Box
There are not much Ion based products in the market and simultaneously talking about the nettops which are basically seen from Asus and Acer, but a new comer dips its toes into this field. EMTEC, a reliable consumer brand specialized in storage and digital solutions have jumped into the market of Ion products recently unveiled “G-Box “(name is still not final).
G-box is upcoming nettop which is quiet slim, compact and have salient features like Atom processor (exact model is still unknown N270 or N280) running on NVIDIA’s Ion platform. It provides 6 USB ports, Gefroce 9400M integrated graphics and 160 GB hard drive and most likely to have 1GB RAM. It is assumed to support Windows XP.

The release date for G-box is still not revealed. It is expected that EMETC would come up with the information soon. It will be available with D-sub output for $292 and one with HDMI connector would be bit higher in cost.
