Apple releases Mac OS X 10.6.1 Update
Apple released the update for Mac OS X 10.6.1 Snow Leopard just after two weeks of its release date. The update included security pateches as well as a number of fixes regarding compatibility issues and many more improvements to the release such as adding a Flash Plug-in for Safari as it used to install the older version even if the most latest version was installed by the user.
Adding of Flash Plug-in become a notable change as the older version which installed contained security vulnerabilities. Thus the update unfolds the most recent version for the Flash Plug-in 10.3.32.18.
Few other updates made to the 10.6.1 are regarding device compatibility such as Printer drivers sometimes might not be shown in the Add Printer Browser, regarding the Wireless 3g Modem compatibilty issue. It has made fixes regarding the bugs found in Mail such as Auto account setup didn’t work, sending mails through SMTP servers experienced certain problems., DVD playback to stop at times very un expectedly.
Apple recommends all its user to update the Mac OS X 10.6.1 Snow Leopard through Software Update.
